Alavez Landscaping, based in Southern California, has helped our clients transform their existing landscapes into creative urban retreats, reflecting their individual artistic styles, cultures, and family lives for over a decade.  The Alavez family business started in the late 1920s when grandfather Juan Alavez Sr., known locally for his custom tailored gardens on the Alavez Ranch, was invited to design landscapes of the local beach resorts in his hometown Acapulco, Mexico. After emigrating to the United States in the 1970s, the Alavez family applied their expertise to Southern California estates, designing the manicured lawns, gardens, and landscape structures of residences in the Hollywood, Beverly Hills, and San Diego areas. Juan Sr. passed his expertise to his son Juan, who then passed his knowledge to his son Juan "Jose" Alavez Jr, President and owner of Alavez Landscaping. We have experience designing native landscapes for the micro climates of our clients in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Orange, and San Diego Counties. Licensed in the State of California, 82% of our projects this year were acquired through unsolicited referrals by our clients to their friends and neighbors.
